Do you need individual counselling?
There are lots of different reasons for having individual counselling. Sometimes things happen that can throw you off track, or holding you back, or impacting on your life , or you feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward.
Sometimes we need help to deal with what is going on; we feel confused, or hurt, or angry. We can find it difficult to find a way forward by ourselves and just need to talk things through.
I can enable you to find a way through this or help you to move forward, or deal with your confusion.
Counselling will give you the opportunity to talk freely and openly in a safe confidential environment. I have many years of experience of working with people from different walks of life, religious beliefs and backgrounds.
You will find me warm, empathic, non-judgmental and professional.
Sessions are one hour, usually once a week and involve us talking together to create a better way forward.
As an experienced counsellor, I have many years of working with individuals from many different backgrounds, religions and personalities. I am warm, approachable and professional, but also non judgment and impartial.
The sessions are confidential and provide a safe environment for you to talk openly.
Our first session together will be about establishing what you need help moving forward with, what you feel or think about your situation, what you want from counselling and whether I will be the right person for you.
If you do want to proceed, then we will talk more about this and the process.

What can you expect from the sessions?
The sessions are ongoing and are not fixed. They are client led, so that you can end when you want. I work with your agenda and tailor the sessions to your needs. I welcome feedback, work transparently and review regularly in order to check if we are going in the right direction.
